Felt sappy. so I felt like making a post to put our thank you's, our kudos, our memeable moments, and all that good sappy good positive stuff into one place.

Essentially. Add anything that had a good/funny impact on you from the mods and team of this discord in the past 2 years. Reminece if you want. But focus primarily on positives.

So. I wanted to say, first and foremost.** Thank you** to the Playwing Team here with us (management is excluded). You were brought on board a sinking ship and demanded to fix it as it fell apart around you. I know it's been rough, and I know we haven't been the kindest to deal with in the process, but I do appreciate that you guys are doing your best with the tools you were handed.

In the past 2 years, we may not have spoken much, and many of you became reclusive in the community due to toxicity, I hope, at the least, that this reaches them too, and I hope it reaches them with its purpose intact.

**Thank you, first of all to the art team. ** Your skill and dedication to giving each dragon a unique motion, impact, and emotion behind it is stunning. The environments are breathtaking, full of life and wonder, ambiance and make me feel as if I am being pulled there. It inspires me to want to get better, to maybe get back into trying to dabble with digital art. I will put some of my personal favorites below later. I encourage people to also share their favorite arts from the game =3

Thank you to the design team. I don't always personally like the designs, armor, or paint jobs the dragons get, but as far as skins and cosmetics go, each one is unique in color and therefore vibe to me. I actually really enjoy the forest Helstor. I love arahk'duhn with all my heart. he looks silly and i love him. Malahk is another close contender,
Tyrastael the spectral sun has a gorgeous cosmos of purple on his wings.
hjartebald has stunning star scales

The community dragon, Wrathful dreams, came out absolutely gorgeous. I was surprised how much love seemed to go into it. I appreciate that a lot.

I can't even pick a windguard, you guys drive me insane with how pretty each and every one of those turns out. I feel a bit jealous as a marauder main lol.

I love a lot of the phantom designs too, i really liked the halloween skins with the paints on them. Both the riders and the dragons came out pretty cool looking! The art behind them was also pretty intense.

We don't have many thornweavers, but I love birch trees, so the white (birchy) thornweaver is my all time favorite. Kinda wish the black lines looked more like eyes, but you know what, that's ok uwu.

I love the cosmetics we have - recolors be damned, my boi can look spiffy!
I hope to see more unique armors in the future, but I understand if it's not written in the upper managements very flawed booklet of to do's.

Thank you To the sound and music team. The musics a banger, the finer details of chains and reigns clinking is always nice and the roars, when we were able to hear them, were always a nice reverberation in my ears that gave each dragon a unique sense of being.
I look forward to hearing more things from you guys in the future - assuming and hoping we have a sound team I don't know how you guys operate with sound, but man....it's amazing either way.

Thank you to the devs behind the code in the game (balancing/motion/everything) . I know working with coding you didn't make can be a mess, it's probably hectic going into those files - even if it WAS your coding it'd still be hectic. I don't always agree with the changes, but some have been really good game changers.
like making phantoms rage less intense. (could still use some tweaks to bring it up to pace with other dragons now a days but, eh. Priority lists). Those lil buggers were pretty insane and untouchable back in the day.

The marauder fix was a much needed one. I may not like the gust buff, but that's ok bc my boi sure can hit those hunters marks now! I love that it doesn't feel as frustrating to play as it used to. Thank you, from the bottom of my marauder main heart for that.

I appreciate the unique abilities each class has and I appreciate how it brings a different style of gameplay to each one, forcing you to adapt to a new set of abilities and style as you go.

Honestly, even some of the bugs are kinda funny. I miss the two-headed dragon bug on menu, but you know what, we have the shiny rider/dragon bug now. I really don't care if that gets fixed personally. It's funny when it happens. We can have pro's with our cons XD
Coding is a fickle thing and sometimes gives us good things with the bad. I'm always curious to see what new string got pulled with each update, and I know we complain a lot about the bugs in general, but, they're pretty interesting sometimes to come across. Like finding a cat on your doorstep.
I hope one day you will have time to properly sit down and work on the things you want to, and I hope you drink plenty of water during your delves into madness.

****Thank you to the coordinators behind the game modes. **It's not easy coming up with new game modes, and we may not always react positively to them, but it's tricky to make somethibng new and implement it at the same time. I appreciate the effort regardless, and I feel, given actual time from your uppers, that you could show us something truly amazing.
I just hope you guys are given that one day.

**Thank you writers ** Many of us enjoy the lore in the game. Without you and the art team, I doubt many of us would havce been here as long as we have. I'm sure many new players joining also get wrapped up in the wonderful world your pens (metaphorical it may be bc keyboards) create.
My personal favorite lore to read up on is the phantoms.
followed by windguard and thornweaver.
I absolutely adore the shady world you have managed to create of phantoms.
the shockingly wartorn world of windguards, and the mystical lives of the thornweavers.
It'd be pretty amazing if one day you guys could release a book.

On that same vein Thank you to ashpawn whose videos and voice lead me through this realm in further depth than I could ever garner in reading alone. I love those century lore videos so much. Thank you for those gifts.

**And Thank you to our community managers, and social media managers ** . It's an under rated job, honestly, but one someone has to do. I enjoy seeing you guys in chat when you guys are able, and I enjoy some of the jokes made on social media. The social media posts may be simple at times, but you know, I enjoy the lil games to win small prizes, and I enjoy the banter, and I enjoy seeing those small sparks of life within this game.
I have never rushed to any announcements on any media site, or discord, faster than i do the ones here.

Thank you to the Playwing team It's been a rough couple of years, but I wish you the best and appreciate the hard work - even if I can't always see it - and for that I am also sorry.

Primarily the artists bc I'm simple. I love looking in the creations chat and century art chats. I love the lil emotes this community continues to make off and on, I enjoy the memes, I enjoy it all.

a****nd a huge thank you to the community members who stick around to help newbies learn and have someone to play with. It's important in this game to have friends, and we don't all start with one.
This game is hard to learn, and merciless to new players due to the small player pool, but with your help, you make it a better place for them, and often times, they stay far longer than they would have otherwise.
It's a hrd job, but one that needs done as well. Thank you to those that have also helped me along the way, and continue to help others grow.

You guys are doing an amazing job and thus far, this has been one of the -shockingly- least problematic discords I have been in in a long time.

also the interactions can be quite funny at times.

I know I'm far from a saint in this discord myself.
But I wouldn't stick around if I didn't enjoy it in some way.
Century is a unique game with a lot of potential - in time, I'd hope it'd look more like lair down the road. I think that'd be fun as a pve thing if given the chance.
our pvp modes are pretty solid and set in stone, I'd say. It's hard to come up with new pvp related modes when each one just boils down to - kill people XD

i leave from time to time to cool off but...i do love this place

Ah. I also really enjoy the discord card game! It's a nice interactive and easy to do thing to keep interaction up just a tiny bit in here and gives me something to look forward to.

I love the community design contests. i'm sad they don't all win, but I understand it would take a huge toll on the art team to do all of those at once. XD
Given time and stability, I hope they'd be able to contact all the artist they wished to use their art of, and compensate them once given permission to use - even if it's older contest submissions.

This community, by and large, does want to pitch in to help the best they can I believe. it's just rough bc we can't and you guys can only do so much.

I just discovered this game today, and oh my god I had such a FUN time just flying around and getting used to the controls! I didn't mind losing the first few matches, I was just having fun diving and killing other dragons, and I managed to even place first in one of my matches and get featured for the start of another match! Things went downhill from there XD but oh man, it's been a great first day in the game :D

And despite the various flaws I do find, I can see that there is a labor of love that's going into the game and this is a great place to remind us all of that 😊

Because shit at the end of the day, all I've wanted is to fly a dragon really fast through a canyon, and I now have achieved that goal XD

I‘m actually a bit out of words after reading through all of that, but in a positive way.
I discovered century shortly before it was released. When I first saw it, I wasn’t sure if it would be a game for me bc I don’t really play many pvp games.
But already the dragon skins in the founder packs got me so exited for the game and all the future skins and stuff that I bought a founder pack.
When Century then got released I soon realized that I‘ll love the game even if I’m definitely not as good as many others.
Now many months and many ups and downs later I still love the game and this discord (even if both drives me nearly crazy sometimes 😅).
I met so many amazing people form all over the world in here and enjoy playing with or against them and reading their messages in here.
I‘m really happy that Century exists and that we all keep it alive. If Century didn’t exist I wouldn’t have met my lovely bf and the amazing friends I have now and founded our ingame clan VOT together
I am grateful for every clan member we found to play and enjoy our time together.
I am grateful for every other person who send me an invite to play together.
I am grateful for this community bc between all the criticisms we can create funny moments and laugh together. This server is the only official game server I’m in and checking multiple times a day what’s going on in here.
I am grateful for all the work the dev team does, even if I don’t like every change and decision they make, I know they are doing their best. Developing a game isn’t easy and we (the community) make things even harder sometimes, but they still trying to do their best to improve Century and make it stay alive longer ❤️
And that’s why I’m a bit speechless when reading through all of that in here, it brings back a ton of great memories I already had because of this game and I hope we all will create a ton more great memories.

I discovered the game shortly before release as well, and I fell in love with it so whole heartedly that i used my credit card for the first time ever to buy a gaming laptop just to play it.
prior to century I had no need or desire for a high end computer of any type. Everything may have been laggy, but thats what I was used to

honestly century forcing me to buy a new laptop has improved my QOL overall bc OH MY GOD.....browsing the internet and playing games of any kind is so much easier and better now. I just assumed all computers were as trash as the basic acer office laptop I had

I dont really remember where i saw the game, i think i was looking up the dragon tag on steam and found this while it was in beta. I never got on cause i was too late to play the early version and forgot about it until idk a year later when i saw it again. Now im stuck with it until it dies

I've been with Century for a while now, and I'd call myself a pretty spicy opponent, heh. I'm loving the game because dragons of course, but also just how the game plays. There's it's problems, sure, but I enjoy it enough to keep coming back to it and finding I never really got any rust!

I was very happy to buy the package I did when the game went into full release, and I don't feel bad to buy something here and there more. I enjoy the game enough that I want to see more- and of course one way to show it is by those purchases.

Also glad there's no pay to win type stuff, it's all cosmetics and augmentation that are affordable through play- even the new classes. (Which, I'm loving the Rimeblood, divebomb is something I've been wanting!)

Thank you devs for all of your hard work lately! I truly do believe that transparency and an open line between the community and your team is the best thing for any game! I had my reservations but the big one was really me hoping for: the last few announcements you guys have done. The reverting of controls, the understanding of the players concerns, and explaining exactly what was getting reverted, I am in love with all of these changes and I greatly appreciate it!
