Can someone explain how to do the second part in this?
i got a = 2 for the first

I dont know what a consistent system is or how you can show it in geometric form.

consistent system is just a set of x,y,z which satisfies all 3 eqyuatiuons

So do i just solve the simultaneous equations?

solve them

if the values for x y z satisfy all 3

then its consistent

So consistancy is simply just the solution actually existing?

yeah if it was inconsistent it would mean the equations wouldnt hold
