The area of each bar in a histogram is proportional to the frequency, and the height is the frequency divided by the width of the interval.

yeah that diagram explains it well
sure
so i basically just imagined that diagram in my head and when it says it's 2.08 times taller you need to think of the frequency density which is the y axis or height of the histogram bar
so you find the frequency density by doing frequency divided by the width of the bar - 50 divided by 5 = 10
therefore you do 10 x 2.08 = 20.8 which is the frequency density of the other bar
and then using the equation

so you do 20.8 x (k-14.5) = 52
k - 14.5 = 2.5
k = 17
