So I would differentiate the first equation to find an equation for v

Then sketch a velocity time graph of that equation

And you know that the area under the velocity time graph is distance travelled

So I would integrate between 0 and 4 to find the distance

Be careful though cus some parts of the graph could be below the x axis so you would need to separate it into multiple integrals and add them together
