have u done radians?
in normal maths
nope
you need that knoweldge for this q
theres a few formulae for working out sector and segment area
im sure u could do with as fm knowledge
i mean itd be very hard lemme try nd explain it
yeah thats one part of it
then find the area of the sector
so if 360 degrees is 2pi
then 2pi / 3 is 1/3rd of that?
do the formulas work the same as if i used degrees
for like area of sector
which simplifies nicely
to ½r²(theta)
which is one of the formulae in the radians chapter
the other is arclength which u could prolly also derive
this is year 2 single maths?
yeah
should i learn it now or wait till i do it in school
ok
you basc alr know it 🤣 but its good to make sure u know everything
Don’t need radians really for this
no need for radians
yo why did u reply like 6 months after
100 percent edexecl
I just knew it was edexcel
I've seen too many edexcel questions and mark schemes
I'm traumatised by the font
It'll stay in my head forever
damn
💀
yes mate
😹
wys bony
Why is this thread still up lmao
it must be
until @frosty umbra themselves decides to close it
i will ensure it is at the top
😭

Hwat the fuck
basically a GCSE argand diagram q fr
yh tbf the coordinate geometry part doesnt seem too hard
like finding that right angle triangle
the lengths are no diff
yes
no new formulae either its just area of a triangle and area of a sector and stuff
but i js dont know what the question is asking or how how the domains work
oh LOL that should be fine
thats like
the easy part that might look harder than it is
Yh rs
like what the z, weird C, a and b + ci, d are
looks fun to solve though
might start learning it for fun sometime soon
i've done integration which was honestly super fun
but havent started binomials and argands yet
Yeah
been putting them off in favour of GCSE sciences
dayum
r u going into y11
yes
but tbf i do further maths so i know some of the y12 curriculum from that
matrices etc
3d coordinate geo
oooh i see thats cool
yh honestly a blessing
hopefully y12 is light for me so i can finish the y13 content ASAP
i want y13 to be a repeat of y11 where it's just constant revision and no learning of new content
though unfortunately i havent been able to cover the whole curriculum for GCSE sciences yet
hoping to finish it all by late october/early november
u gonna do a level maths in y12? or just learn all the content for a-level but not sit the actual exam
till y13
Not sit the exam, i dont see the benefit in that
im gonna have to sit my ucat and submit my epq as well
and also get ready for interview
so a whole a level to do would just be too much on my plate
oh yeah thats fair enough
esp considering i have to prelearn all of a level bio and chem content because the interviewers for camb are pretty cheeky
they ask some mean questions
damn
but yh Inshallah I will get into cambridge
Otherwise I wont really be too bummed since I wanna go to UCL'/Imperial anyway
same UCL & imperial sound dope
inshallah 🙏
this question was painful
damn u guys rlly wanna keep this thread alive
Poor guy 😭
yes
😭
nuh uh
