the question was to differentiate the y = part, idk where I went wrong the answer is 1/cos^2 - 1/sin^2

That is the same as sec^2(x) - csc^2(x)

#

If you wanted to just rewrite y as (secx)(cscx) then use the formula book for the derivatives

Oh I’m blind

#

Yh just split it into 2 fractions

#

sin^2x/(cos^2x sin^2x) = 1/(cos^2x)

#

Then obv the same for cos^2x/(…)

#

You’d get 1/sin^2x
