for part a, whilst the water is filling the cylinder, the water level will rise at a constant rate

however, as it starts to fill the cone, the rate of increase of water will begin to rise

nah in that graph the rate of icnrease is decreasing

which is why its levelling off

the rate of increase should be increasing, so the graph should b getting steeper
