you need to find the equation of the tangent that touches the ellipse

its told you that the tangent touches ellipse at (4,0)

once u find the equation of the tangent, let y = 0

so the answer is gonna be (x,0), and x is what you need to find

@queen willow ive just gone with where the tangent meets the curve and the mark scheme agrees so i think thats what it meant
