On the solution it says that the area of T is 0.5x(4-k)(k-1) but wouldn’t that expression be different depending on the value of k. From my working I found that expression to be true when k is less than 4 but false when k is greater than 4 . When k is greater than 4 I got the expression 0.5x(k-4)(k-1) .
