Q: why do you need a textbook?
Also this should be in #maths-discussion afaik
for revision what
Honestly you are better of using corbettmaths or smth. Use those resources for revision
and you can get exam questions from maths genie
just go through past papers and see which topics you struggle with -> watch a video -> do exam questions for that topic
yeah but isnt it good to look through like topics though
also @remote juniper can you tell me, for like maths tests what should I use to revise?
me personally, I don't revise for tests in particular
I just do this and make sure I'm on top of every topic
yea but thats just cuz ur smart lmao im not that smart
and still get 95-100%
my teacher doesnt give my past tests back so i cant to do that
well your teacher should do that, ask her.
and I am not talking about tests given by teacher, I print past papers myself and do those
checking them is farely easy if you get maths genie answered past papers
yea but my teacher collects everyones test and has them all also but the past papers wont be exactly whats on the test
"but the past papers wont be exactly whats on the test" - You can't expect maths questions to be exactly the same from what you've practiced???
You need to learn how to solve the questions, not learn the answers to the questions
yea but i wont know what type of questions I have to even revise and what to use
Well the topics should be taught to you in school, and otherwise just watch a corbett maths video and get on with some practice exam questions on his website
wtf is corbett maths videos
He is the goat
mid
in general I was asking for the textbook but ig not rlly
well go for CGP or collins if you really want it, but I won't recommend
a
why wouldnt u recommend tho
Waste of money; Sometimes overcomplicate things; Better ways to revise
what about like not maths
surely they are good then
ya then they're good
You don’t need a textbook at gcse
Just watch vids and do practice papers
I scored 228/240 with 78/80 on p3
Heres the method
Shadow papers: https://www.mymathscloud.com/modules/gcse-igcse-o-level/practice-papers/edexcel-shadow-papers
Extra hard gcse papers: https://gcsepapers.bravesites.com/practice-papers
And watch gcse maths tutor for hard questions
@bitter rune @remote juniper

you can use websites don’t be like those people who spend all their money on textbooks they don’t need
BBC home learning, Physics and Maths tutor and you can find past papers for revision
if you want one really bad check your local library or mainly use online and free resources
