#Find y

you need to put it in the form y=mx+c
where y is the y coordinate, x is the x cooridnate
m is the gradient and c is the y intercept
you need to get y on its own. So get rid of the /2 by multiplying by 2 on both sides
you should get ||y=16x+18||
and using the info i gave you previoulsy, you should be able to work out what the gradient and y intercept are
For the second one, You will need to move 2 things to the other side to get y on its own
you want to move the thing that is furthest away from the thing you want on your own
In this situation, you want y on its own, and the number/term thats furthest away from the Y is the +x
to get rid of the +x, you take away x on both sides
you will get|| y/5 = 6x+2||
Then you want to get rid of the /5
using the method i explained for the previous question, you should get ||y=6x/5 +2/5||
or in decimals|| y= 1.2x + 0.4||
