How do u differentiate-1/2Ln(x-2)

cinder summit
#

the derivative of ln x = 1/x

#

and by the chain rule the derivative of ln(x-2) = 1/(x-2)

#

and the -1/2 applies to the derivative the same way as it would the log

#

so it’s just -1/2(x-2) @upbeat bough
