use the ratio
rearrange
tofind the mass of A and C
and then subtract
did you do that?
I don’t think so
To work out density of B you do mass/volume so you do 8600/1=8600
Then to find the share of B, do 8600/15=573.3 recurring. This is the share of B
Then we wanna know A, we do 13 x 573.3 = 7453.3 for that share
Since we know it’s 5 for volume for a:
7453.3 x 5 = 377266.6kg
And to find C= 21x573.3=12040
Now to work out C again with its volume do 12040x3= 36120kg
Your difference between a and c is 37266.6-36120=1146.6
You can round to 1150kg 3.s.f
Watch videos about ratio on yt it will help to understand what we are saying
