and the distance of peppa to the plane using trigonometry
also youve posted the Q twice so if you can remove the other post pls
How I’m confused Icl what you mean by that what would you use ?
which bit
Part A
part a wants you to work out the distance that george and peppa are to the plane and then compare to see who is the shorter distance away
What calculations would you do for A and B that’s what I’m confused about
I would use pythagoras to work out the distance george is to the plane. So 346^2 + 3900^2 = (distance george to plane)^2
That makes sense now what about part C ??
that was only for part a
you need to do two calculations for part a
the other will be sin(83) = 3900 / (distance peppa to plane)
then compare the distances
I’ll try that thanks I think I would probs know the rest except C how would you do that ?
there is a large grey right angled triangle with adjacent side 680 and hypotenuse 1000
oh wait it might not be right angled myb
yh cosine rule
work out the distance from mommy to peppa and then you'll have 3 sides of the triangle
