how do i find the validity

Valid when mod(4x) < 1 and mod(-x) < 1
So when mod(x) < 1/4 and mod(x) < 1
So valid when mod(x) is less than 1/4
it exists
guys can you explain this to me
why would it not be valid
It's maths of course it's valid
x² = 4x+1/-x-1 -x³ - x² = 4x + 1 -x^3 - x^2 - 4x - 1 = 0 x ≈ -0.26
