So
all the values add up to 1
p+(1-6p)+p+3p+p = 1
6p + (1-6p) = 1
why does it

well seen as the p's cancel out then you can say that p could be any value between 0 and 1 but obviously you cant have negative probably so 1-6p has got to be greater than 0
so p has to be less than 1/6
so the range would be between 0<p<1/6 i think
and then for part b thats just adding the probability of being less than or equal to 2 and making that equal to the probability of being greater than 2
So 1-4p=4p
p=1/8
also weird that theres no 4 on that distribution
