Ok first you can find DB through trignometry

DB is the hypotenuse (its opposite to right angle) and 8.3cm is adjacent (to the angle 44 degrees)

So if you have H and A, you can use cos function
cos (44) = 8.3/DB
rearrange to make DB the subject and you’ll get that value
