so, i’ve seen the mark scheme to this question but it just doesn’t make sense to me whatsoever. can a genius please help me out. (part b - 4 marks)

ohh i’m starting to understand it now. but question, where did u get x=-1+2n and x=1-1/2n from?

Compare a value on the left hand side with a value on the right hand side

Also compare b value on the left hand side with b value on the right hand side

Then you can find 2 equation, which you con solve it by substitution method of simultaneous equations
