ive worked out the reaction force but idk if i even need that
but idk what to do next
<@&791435371564892232>
resolve all forces
as it moves horizontally the vertical forces are not important
so resolve horizontally and then what after that??
it should all sum to 0
as it moves at constant speed
I did that but it doesn’t give me the right answer unless there’s another step
the left force resolves to 100 cos(30) = 50sqrt(3)
the right force resolves to 150cos(45) = 75sqrt(2)
thus F = -25(2sqrt(3) + 3sqrt(2))
Magnitude is 25(2sqrt(3) + 3sqrt(2))
Yeah ik what I was doing wrong now
