Dk if there’s a better way but
the minus makes it 1/x
so x^4/3 = 256
4/3 = cube rooting and squaring by 4 so do the opposite on the other side

Imagine you wrote out x^(4/3)
You’d have the cube root of x to the power of 4
Now think of what you’d need to do to both sides to cancel those out on the left

That’s why they switched places
