@ashen monolith you could just substitute values 0, 3, and -1.5 and get simultaneous equations
Or you could write the equation in the form a(x-b)(x-c) where b and c are the roots and then expand

Yes you cant leave out the a with that method
You need to substitute 0 and work it out
a(-9/2) = -9
a = 2
