#Abnormally low single thread performance

Even if the benchmark results in CPU-Z are unreliable, the performance difference is extremely large even so. There's more than a 12% point difference and it being on par with the 5500 doesn't seem right.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 7500f
B650E Aorus Elite Ice
RTX 4070
Thermalright phantom spirit air cooler
32 gb ddr5 6000 cl 30
650 watt gold psu

The temps do not exceed 67C under max load, and the chip boosts to a max of 5040 mhz.

There's no way data skews with overclocked hardware can make that much of a difference for the whole data set

your first mistake was thinking anyting outside of gaming benchmarks matter when you're not doing anything but using the pc for gaming

#

the 7500f is like 5-8% slower than the 7600x in real world gaming

what's my second mistake

#

not actually checking game benchmarks and comparing it to similar systems

#

but also the cpu-z benchmark is basically trash

#

i dont even know why they still include it, it hasnt been reliable for so long that i dont even remember when it actually was

I just overclocked and achived 607 in single and 5890 in multi

#

i wont be complaining anymore

#

just be careful with overclocking

#

you honestly dont really need to since the performance difference in games vs the 7600x wont be huge at 1440p

#

even at 1080p it's only 8% max
