I'm having trouble updating my BIOS. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B650I AORUS ULTRA, and the current BIOS version is "F2." I'm trying to update to a newer version from the Gigabyte support page. When I use Q-Flash, it verifies the file, restarts, and then gets stuck on a black screen. My peripherals shut off, but the fans and GPU keep running. I've waited for over three hours with no progress. Thankfully, my system powers back on fine, without the update though.
Any idea what might be causing this?
My BIOS is one of the first versions, not even on their support page anymore. So, I've attempted to update to the closest version as an intermediary too, same results. Should I disable and restore my bios to regular settings w/o an OC and try again? I've also checked the version of my board, it's rev 1.0. Thanks for any help.
