it's likely an issue with the laptop keeping track of the key's state. have you tried fully restarting the laptop yet?
wdym by fully restarting?
basically restarting the laptop. start menu -> shut down -> restart
shut down actually does not get rid of the key states. restart does.
yeah i've done that
you can also just press and hold the power button to force a hard restart
this as well
if it's still happening after a full restart, it's likely the keyboard is damaged
you can find a keyboard replacement for that model for like $10-15
btw, u can kinda figure out if it's the keyboard that's really broken of just a stuck key state in windows. the issue is u'll need a way to isolate the keyboard from the laptop, either by disconnecting the thin cable or disabling it via the device manager. both methods would require you to have a different keyboard (either plugged in via USB or using the on-screen keyboard)
