I'm trying to buy a second hand PC for my brother and checking a second hand tower online that comes with a i5-9400 fits what I want, but I want the computer to be able to run win 11 and play league of legends too, that in win 11 requires TPM 2.0, I want to know if this board has it, I have a second hand RX 6600, a 1TB SSD from another computer that I will install on this computer.
#Does anyone recognize this motherboard?

the board’s model name should be printed on the actual board itself, pic is a lil too blurry to read but seems to be an MSI one. if u can get a better photo of it, we can easily look up the technical specs for it
perhaps ask the seller for a photo of the board and/or the model name
nevermind, looks to be the MSI H310M PRO-VDH PLUS Micro ATX LGA1151
it has a TPM module connector, so worse case, u can purchase a TPM 2.0 module for like $20-30
if you hve the time to learn how to do a custom install with rufus u can bypass all that bs when u install the iso to a usb drive to install windows its actually very easy once u learn how to do it once
this works too. it just can get annoying when microsoft decides to brick it randomly and u gotta do a fresh install again. granted, it’s really rare when that happens
it is ive never seen it happen except when i was using an iso from other places then microsoft
has happened to me twice so far, same test bench LMAO
dang get a new iso maybe ?
good thing it really was just a test bench so it didn’t affect us as much
thats good
mhmm it was a fresh install of the latest ISO plus the latest windows updates
micrsoft never makes an iso with the most uptodate updates
happened twice since windows 11 came out. the first one was a major feature update, it bricked the install lmao! the 2nd time it was a security update
ive dealt with the security update one u just block it from windows downloading it after u fix it
u can us the dart stuff on the usb to roll it back too
for some reason tho, it happened on the same exact board. we have 2 more of the same exact setup and those were both fine
wierd
same bios versions too, literally same everything
it must have just not liked that 1
yeah, it’s one of those we just can’t explain lmao
i had a 5950x that would randomly crash never found out why had it rma'd and the new one did the same thing for like 2 weeks then sumhow magically stopped never found any sort of answer for why
i had 2 exact setups to test it in and it was forsure the cpu in both setups
