[SOLVED] cmos lift tab stuck inside pcie slot

that pcie slot doesnt get touched anymore

i use vertical mount

the rest of the pc is cleaner than that

my last idea is to shake it upside down and hope it comes out

take the mobo out the case. dont remove the cpu cooler (it'll help keep the board at it's current flexed state. turn board upside down to use gravity to your favor. use a plastic pry tool and insert between the board and the pci-e slot then pry the slot up slightly. u only need it to loosen and not pinching. it should fall off after a few tries

UPDATE: the thing fell so far down it appeared at the bottom half

we managed to pull it out!

but now i gotta ask

how DO i put it into where it used to be

then u can definitely just stick it back in. since there's so many designs for this, u'll have to figure it out completely. start by removing the battery first so u can see better
