I need to attach this asshole gear back underneath where the printer carriage is on my HP 9015 printer. I think it controls motion forward and backward to where the printer head spits excess ink. I can’t find the release mechanism for the printer cartridge carriage so I can move it to get to where the gear needs to be put back. HALP.

excess ink should be going into the inkpad sponge thingy
Oh that I can see. The cog to move it came off. I wanted to fix it, but I broke a small part in the process.
