GOOD NEWS
Windows is activated by digital licence connected with your Microsoft account
🎉🎉🎉
And my Google browser is synced so all of the saved passwords are back to
Damn this went 5 times better than expected
good thing you linked the key to your account
now you just need to reinstall everything
oh also it may be slow because it's probably downloading and installing updates in the background
having an SSD in that system would speed it up quite a bit
I will buy 1tb Samsung ssd for the new pc
That will probably be enough since I lived with only a hard drive with half of that for years
finally
discord on pc
did you delete every partition?
yes
it's actually possible to recover deleted partitions
the partition is still there, you will just need some software to recover it
it's literally just a "flag" talling the drive there is a partition at a certain part of the disk
you can either remake that partition in disk manager or try recovering it
how do i remake it
this is why i was saying you should delete all but that large partition with the games on it to save you time on redownloading games
there was a lot of trash on both partitions so I just wiped both of them
and again i didn't play a lot of those games its just annoying to recover some of the software i do use
well since it's a clean install of windows i guess just make a new partition
so press the windows key on the keyboard and x at the same time
click disk management
on your hdd find the unallocated space
368 gigs unallocated
yes right click that and new simple volume
you can label it if you want or leave it unlabeled
reseting wasn't that bad
already redownloaded everything i use on daily basis
key was there
i did lose all of my settings for my 3d printer but thats alright I remember the most important ones
@true zodiac I mean it's pretty much exactly the same issue but this time it's a fresh install of windows 10 instead of upgrade from windowns 7
need to bring in other people to help you with your issue. if you know how or think you know you can do it, you can swap the sata data cable plugged in to motherboard from hard drive, to a different sata port on the motherboard to see if it fixes the problem. otherwise it may mean either the motherboard is failing or your hard drive is faulty. could also mean the data cable is faulty but not likely
might need to bring in other people to help with your issue because i wont be around to help much the next few days
@midnight lagoonyou may need to consider making a new thread and start over with the explanation of what is happening
