Ethernet suddenly stopped working

hello, my ethernet suddenly stopped working yesterday and it still hasn't come back, it's not the cable or router as it worked on my laptop and I tried with direct to my mb ethernet and a USB dongle, both didn't work, it says connected with no Internet and i can't access the routers firmware or whatever its called. Windows 10

uninstall and reinstall the ethernet driver from the motherboard’s website. Restart computer

Hopefully you have WiFi on that computer that works, or another computer that you can use to put the ethernet driver on

also check device manager and see if you find anything out of place

I think I had this problem before and all I needed to do was go in to the internet settings

reinstalling the driver didn't fix it :/

the ethernet cable definitely works, i used it to downlaod the driver on my laptop

i tried booting into safe mode and that didn't work either

safe mode with networking ofcourse

do you see your ethernet adapter in your windows Device Manager? are there any unknown devices listed in there?

check for windows updates as well
