Thought I was being clever by using my affinity tokens on locked chars as a way to get the 3000 gold to then unlock it. You CAN use affinity on locked chars, it does gain level, but you cannot claim the rewards, the popup etc happens but you dont actually gain the items.
Either you shouldnt be able to use affinity tokens on locked chars or you should be able to claim the rewards as well.
