you can also try like X going over to Kai handing him a drink and opening up a conversation, that leads to like X trying his best to make Kai laugh up until the kids as suggested by nameless see the two of them talking asking for autographs

later on go to the field with Kai and X on separate teams, describing the intensity of the match but how Kai started to slowly get back to his old self when he sees the kid on his team score on X making him laugh. The kids leave with smiles and Kai thanks X for the help

Honestly probably why I was struggling, X is not sitting down and having you talk about why things are so hard for you.
He’s picking you up by the arm and making you solve your issues

I think with especially sensitive matters that contrast between the two would bring up conflicts, but his nature could still bring up a clash of perspective which could lead to some actual development

Scenes like, “why would you say that X” but it moves the story forward, he genuinely makes good arguments telling you to move on, or fix the issue. And even if you’re frustrated you acknowledge there’s something that needs to change

I know run faster isn’t that cool of an ability but in his animation there’s fire where he goes. To show he’s moving faster

now

how much can the fire impact his speed

Since heating increases kinetic energy

Surely speed is proportionate to temperature

And his he’s continuously on fire, or at least his legs, he should be able to go pretty fast

But as you know, heat makes us slower

We need to cool our bodies down more with sweat and we become dehydrated faster

But

It’s beneficial, as we exert more energy running while it’s hot which boost endurance

So when it’s not hot, Kai would preform a lot better under normal conditions

his fire gives him an additional kick, while simultaneously hearing him up, at least his legs which exhaust him faster at the cost of him running faster

Which kind of works with how that ability isn’t permanent

I’m just thinking. If he didn’t get exhausted because of it, continuously increased the heat of his flames, and continued speeding up, he’d reach pretty insane speeds

Though he’d need some specialized shoes if he doesn’t already have some

I think he’d need lots of cold water to improve his stamina though

Seems like a dangerous method

But I’ve also been thinking

Kai might have genes from his family that make him flame resistant

I mean, his idle is kinda just like a lighter, he can start fire but it’s not actually touching him

So is it more like pyrokinesis than inherit?
