one of the things that bothers me (and a lot) is the lack of clarity on the part of Odssey Studios

creates a certain skepticism in trusting them, because "if they aren't clear as a water", how could you know about they really working on this part?

there was several bugs and problems, for example the ping that was bugged and only fixed after 1 MONTH. i'm sure that the fact that the game doesn't have functional communication reinforces that the ping bug was an emergency and even then it was only resolved after a month. looks like they left it for next season.

there are those who created expectations and thought that they were testing to create more pings, which was not the case and remains the same

as hard as it could be to be fixed, it was something that affected a lot the game and bothered a lot of players, so the 0 sense of delay as it sounds like they prioritized less

I dont really know the details on the whole old ping issue that existed since I started playing on the last day of the first season, but to me this feels like an emergency bug that needs fixing since it might as well be shutting down a whole platform from playing.

A few updates for folks (nothing is good though).

• This crash appears to only happen in retail version of the game, and does not happen for us on the developer version of the title.
• This means that we are attempting to fix the issue blindly right now. Friday was an attempt on this, as the callstack indicated a fault in GDK code, so we made a change in that area (updating to a later GDK version), in hopes it might address the issue, but it did not.
• We are still working with Microsoft to get more information on the crashes that are happening, currently working with them on the developer forums. This is going to take some time.

The not having a reproducible crash in developer mode is making this a very difficult problem to solve. We are actively looking at this every day still.

We are also working with a theory that the long load and return to main menu issue on PC, might actually be related to this, so we are additionally getting more logs from users who are seeing that to see if we can put a theory together as to what might be happening.

Hum, not looking great so far. The fix we put in was to change some of the audio streaming we do to see if that made an impact. Still troubleshooting blinding here while we work with Microsoft to figure out what is going on.

Yeah that matches with what we would expect to happen. We made some audio streaming changes to avoid the audio cutting out in some menus (happens more in visual novel). We rolled those changes back to see if they might of caused this issue.

Glad it is working a bit better for you Miyamura. The truth is that we've not made a signficant change since the last update. This issues is roaming / there is an aspect of this bug that appears to be out of pure user control which makes it more likely to happen.

I know the event has 30 days or so left (can't remember) and I hope it is fixed by then .. but if not there's a chunk of Xbox players (such as myself) who may not be able to claim the event rewards. Fortunately I also have an Xbox One so I was able to go back onto that. But if not I absolutely would not have tried to claim the rewards. My friend isn't willing to deal with the crash for example. It's just unfortunate. If it extends past this point I do hope there is some compensation for those who didn't get to participate properly. Thanks!
