Not sure what's the cause, sometimes it just won't let me use it, most of the time it's in a game with bad ping, but sometimes in a good stable ping too. More often than not, it's in comp where I need it the most.

Just happened too me, suddenly couldn't use the callouts. It was like it wasn't bound but I even rebound it and it still didn't work

Exactly, i like bind 5 other things to tactical callouts and it doesn't work.. sometimes it works perfectly fine and sometimes it just doesn't work whatsoever

This has been happening to me consistently one or two times a night since launch. It's so consistent that I can't really tie it to any particular potential cause; it just randomly stops working one out of every three or four games and the only way to fix it is to close and reopen the client (which is obviously not at all a real solution in the middle of a comp match). Makes solo queue intensely frustrating.

Been happening to me so often that's it's starting to really annoy me. I tried testing this theory and it seems to not work. I've tried loading into a game in both scenarios. Haven't tried from a fresh restart though

After a few more tries, (2 in a row tabbed out then 2 in a row tabbed in) it seems that after about 2 games in a row where I was tabbed in the tactical callouts returned

Yeah it hasn't stopped happening to me tabbed in or out. The worst is playing goalie and I can't tell my teammate to stop standing on me.

i think i know why sometimes we cannot use the team emotes. i am from US east and my game starts lagging at around dinner time (6pm) which i think is the time US west players start getting active so i start matching with players on the other side of the continent. each new round starts loading slower (the barriers that were gone take longer to reload) while tactical callouts completely dont work.
it is freaking strange though that regular emotes will work
