Rookies Stuck In Modes They Cannot Access

Hi, long story short I wanted me and my friends to play some custom games but when I got them all together I had to go due to time restrictions. When I left they were stuck on the custom game lobby and they could only leave the group but not change modes. The buttons are missing for them and they are stuck on it. The only solution I have thought about is inviting them to a lobby of a non -rookie player and changing the gamemode from there. I've attached a screenshot of the errors they are getting.

Also happened to a friend of mine while playing cross play. He joined me trying to launch a custom game and was stuck in that game mode unable to switch after leaving the party. Even when he joined another player's party, the game thought he was still in a custom match and refused to give him any mission rewards, but it did let him play whatever the party leader was joining. Even after restarting the game he was still stuck in custom game without being able to change modes. We were able to reverse the problem by having him rejoin my party and I changed us to Quick play where he got stuck in until he was able to finish his Rookie missions.

If you guys are still stuck, you can fix this by partying up with someone who can change the queue for you so that you until you have control over this
