Some small strategies I’ve learned playing as Juno. I hope these tips help and please share any of your own with me as well ^^

#

Tips when using your primary ability
Juno’s “Friend Fling” is a great ability at covering long distances, pushing back attackers, and striking the core when your too far away.

The ability summons a small blob to help attack or redirect the core. Using Juno’s melee ability you can strike the core using any blob on the field.
BE SURE TO AIM WHEN ATTACKING WITH BLOBBOS as it’s very easy to shoot backwards into your own goal if using this ability to defend without aiming.

My advice is to use this ability to shoot a blob across the field to help get pressure off your team or to simply redirect the core for you to make that perfect goal. Another tip is to use this ability at the start of a round to not only try to hit the core first but, also gives you an extra opportunity to attack the core before even reaching if you do miss so it’s a win win situation ^^

Tips when using your secondary ability
Juno’s “Blob Bounce” creates a blob at your feet, launching you in the direction of your choice and rendering your character elusive while airborne. (Elusive targets are invulnerable and un-targetable)

This ability is great for closing long distances as well as leaving behind a temporary defensive blob incase the core gets sent back in the opposite direction.

This ability is more of a situational based move so it’s hard to say exactly when and where to use it but, I personally find it good to use to move to an open spot on the field and open yourself up for a pass from your teammates while leaving an extra blob for support and making yourself temporarily invulnerable; great for getting out of sticky situations

Tips when using your special
Juno’s “Make it Rain” ability is her ultimate ability for both offense and defence. After a short delay this ability rains down a number of blobbos equal to the number of enemies caught in the radius upon casting, plus adding an additional blob in the centre of the casting location.

The best timing to use this ability:

  • For Offence
Using this ability after your opponents goal has opened is the obvious thing to do to create lots of pressure.
However I recommend taking it one step further and using it when both your opponents goal is open and all your opponents are on their own side of the field. Yes it does make it so they have a better chance of block cause all of them will be there but, you’ll also create the max amount of blobbos giving you a better chance to score easy points and leaving your opponents wondering wtf just happened.

  • For Defence
Basically the same as offense, use this ability either when your goalie needs a little extra help or when you just wanna take some pressure off and send the core back to your opponents side of the field. Always try to get as many enemies within the casting circle as possible to get maximum blobbos for the best defence possible. (Just don’t forget about the delay ^^”)

(I did have pictures to go alone with this small guide but, it won’t let me post them so 🤷‍♀️)

About the special, it spawns a blob for the core as well as enemies. The blobs fall where the enemies/core are, so if everyone is spread out the blobs will be as well.

Blobs also do a strong amount of damage, if someone is low near a ledge the blob can easily clean up the KO. You can control the direction the blob hits a player just like the core, making blobs surprisingly lethal.

Blob throw hitting the core/player with the throw as well as leaving the blob means that it's also fairly good at shoving through people in my experience. Blob throw also has a short stun when the throw hits, which helps with this and can potentially throw off someone's rotate

Exactly ^^ sorry I wish the pictures would work cause it gives a better example of what I mean for the special but, yes I usually try to capture as many people in the casting circle as possible for max amount of blobs giving me more chances to get a sneaky goal

The blob ai also seems to like passing to other blobs that are close, which I've found confuses a good number of people. Sometimes not controlling the shot and saving your strike(for the core coming back or the next blob) is better, but that's really something you just have to get a feel for over time
