Hey folks, I followed along with the landscape deformation system videos and got it all working, grass deforming, ground deforming the works. All the render targets were rendering how I expect.
I saved my changes and headed to bed. Today I opened up the project again and I'm getting this bizarre behavior on the render targets where it's extremely pixelated and there are whole chunks that almost never render, with strips of dead zones as well. (See attached picture of the deformation before blurring.) Anyone seen this before?
I disconnected all the persistent logic so I could see what the capture was writing to the initial render target and it's just flickering foot prints. They'll show up for 4 screen captures, then disappear for 2, then show back up for another 3, and so on.
I feel like Unreal must have done something fucky when it saved, but I have no idea what. Any ideas?
