Total noob here, never opened a PC before aside from plugging in a SATA SSD. Is this a good used deal for $75?
Dell Precision 3660 tower
- No CPU, LGA 1700 motherboard, CPU air cooler
- 16 GB DDR5 RAM
- 750W PSU
Aside from the missing CPU/GPU/storage, seller says it's tested/works
Someone else has an i3-14100 for sale for $65 that they say they have 4 of as pulls from working machines after they upgraded them to i7
Also, does anyone know what else I'd need to complete this PC? CPU, SSD, thermal paste...anything else? Is it as simple as plug in the CPU, apply paste, fasten cooler, plug in SSD and I’m off to the races?
