Hi,
in the current dev notes they announced two different reroll scrolls for Ultimate weapons.
The first one rerolls stats like stamina/int/str/dex + lifesteal.
- Thats okay and fair.
The second one rerolls main weapon stats like attack speed, cast time etc.
- Thats super OP and leads to that whales can get a perfect weapon in a day. They are done playing and are super strong.
Suggestion:
Remove this scroll and instead roll random stats on this weapon when dropping it from the boss monster. E.g. similiar to Diablo.
- Means, when a stick is dropped, it can be between 28 and 33% cast speed.
- This can not be changed by a premium scroll.
Further, you can add a system to gradually improve your weapon until it reaches the max stats.
- Lets say you get fragments for each boss kill.
- With 100 fragments you can improve those stats by 1. So 100 fragments to increase stats from 28% to 29%.
- So, even if you get a version with minimal stats, you can improve it until it reaches max stats (33% cast speed) by just playing the game.
That way, whales cannot get perfect gear on day one (unles got drop luck) and you have plenty to farm as you can improve your weapon further by just playing the game!
btw: If you are a whale and reading this: You can just buy high rolled-weapon or already upgraded weapon
