The new jewelry sets are a good feature to keep players active with farming/upgrading the old sets.

The flaw with the new sets are

  • They will be soul bound forcing many players to decide between which of their characters to lock their upgraded jewels onto. My proposal is to remove that the jewels are soul linked so if a player were to get bored of playing _____ class that they could transition to playing another class without having to make a new set of jewels.
  • All sets should just require upgraded ring/earring/necklace and acknowledge said upgraded jewelry to activate the set effect without them actually being transitioned into a small marginalized set
  • All sets should have the option of switching into whatever upgraded necklace they want and still have set effect. (Ex. Ranger ideal set would be Hawkeye set but because of an MP necklace being forced into the set its almost worth it to go Sentinel set instead)

The real question here is. Who drew this up and thought to himself "yeah this looks good every class can totally use the sets with full potential". Follow up question is who approved this and thought the same thing? Why do players need to suggest basic things that merely require common sense. Now we need to wait for this to be considered/approved or what ever. - "Guys we can't tell the estimate required to implement this basic feature that should have been in the game from the start"

I would rather see a different jewellery system, that expands the current. For example adding specific diamonds to our current sets and make them whatever we want. So for example i can “extend” the vigor by adding another stat to it that i choose instead of having to get a new set of jewelleries with set effects - which limits the options. But since this is the case now, i guess allowing some flexibility to the necklaces would make sense

Might as well change the set effect requirements into 3/5 ,4/5 and 5/5 instead of 4/5,4/5 and 5/5

isn't the soul link thing just for fwc sets, haven't played it but i imagine they do that because it's much easier to upgrade items there so they dont want to make those items tradable

Another set of accessory is needed, something like STR + skill dmg or STR + increase attack % effect on rings.

YJ will be complete rubbish on PvP once these jewelries drop on main servers.

Physical Atk classes’ NON-AUTOATTACK/Skill dmg won’t scale well with the current set effects of NEW jewelries.

Im sorry but if you’re talking about FWC stuffs, it’s supposed to be soul-linked, the server has already said “THERE WILL BE LIMITATIONS” upon transferring stuffs after it ends prior to opening the server so I hope you get the point of staying in official and moving to FWC everything is X2 there you think that’s fair?

Its craftable but that doesn’t mean you need to disregard how low the rates are to upgrade everything in main server? Do you know how low the drop rates are here too? Once you already got in here you still keep the stats of the jewelry even though you need to craft it again to gain the extra set effect nevertheless you still have freaking higher stat than a normal jewelry and everyone would compete to gain the low drop rate to be able to craft the jewel set. Your recommendation totally destroys the essence of still remaining in the official server. FWC is a “SPEED SERVER” and is only made for competition and not to gain advantage against being in the normal servers. Now if you didn’t understand what they set as LIMITATIONS upon transferring then that’s on you.

Meteofy is only good for BP and even then the people I know who’ve used it prefer swapping from +20 to +20, I’ve got all jewels +20 except plugs which are 19. And I move jewels around depending on what class I need/want to play. Forcing them to upgrade said parts into class specific jewels negates all diversity of players with multiple characters because now you’re forcing them to lock upgraded jewels onto a specific job driven jewel group. And BTW, I’m not fully opposed to Meteofy being upgradable, I just said the drop rate of whatever upgrades needs to be substantially lower odds than just farming 50 dungeons and also said that Meteofy users shut be pushing for all CW rings to be upgradable as well so it doesn’t look like a self centered request
