The problem
Being a 1v1 BP is kind off bad at lower levels. The grind is a pain. You use a ton of food if you dont have stonehand active. But as 1v1 stonehand has a duration of 1 to 2 minutes. This way you either have to cast it a lot or spend a lot of food. Same issue with STR based Aoe BPs. While not game breaking, it does end up being frustrating and could use some QoL.

The solution
Make stonehands duration scale with both STR and INT. Skills like burst crack already incorporate a scaling system based on the formula (STR * 4.4 + INT * 1.4). Therefore, it would be beneficial to implement a similar scaling mechanism for stonehand. Currently, stonehand's formula relies solely on INT, but a suggestion would be to modify it to (INT * 2 + STR * 1.5) for a more balanced effect. This way INT still provides the highest duration of stonehand, however 1v1 BP's and STR AoE BP can level with lower food costs and 1v1 BP's in dungeons can also AOE and provide stun without having to recast stonehand mid AOE's

Proc’ing a prevention in pvp and it auto casting again would be a game destroying mechanic. You have a weird obsession with commenting on everything I say like it’s some sort of attack on your livelihood, some fan behavior if I’ve ever seen it.

prevention gets forgotten like all the time lmao. it's crazy how short prev's cooldown is considering cheat death abilities generally have very long CDs.

This isn't a thread about prevention. This is a thread about stone hand and it's not a balance change, it's a QoL change. It won't break the class. The prevention thing is a different argument.
Personally I think you could give it a CD of a couple seconds and make that 1+ minutes in PvP, then it doesn't matter if it's casted using a knuckle. But this isn't what this thread is about. BPs can get hate for all their flaws somewhere else.

Great idea! Also I would add that would be extremely nice if we could cast Prevention with Knuckle, not Stick… when we have a element stone on we simply can’t use Prevention because if we switch to the Stick we loose the element stone… it would be amazing and fair to cast prevention with knuckle @fossil stump

Pvp castable prevention with knuckle makes almost no down time with prevention virtually unplayable for any character that’s not a bp

passive prevention will destroy every mechanics and allow to cast on knuckle. think about this wear shield w/ reflect and knuckle then AOE monster in lower area to annoy lower player then after gather all monster, AFK and now no monster in that area and that monster reset timer because of reflect shield and because prevention is auto cast, you can AFK and annoy everyone you like. happy recommendation LOL
