I'm having issues getting it to work. all the tutorials use Windows. I have a windows PC but it can't do stuff like this without overheating lol and it's my school computer. so I would like to use it on mac.

Yeah I've used it on my m4 Mac

#

What's the issue you're having?

I can't get it to recognize my file location with the manga.

#

am I supposed to put it in a certain place? the youtube video uses windows so IDK.

#

anyway thanks!

#

I was able to get mokuro to download fine though

are you typing the file path manually or using tab to auto-complete it in terminal?

small star
#

trying to type it manually

#

iirc on mac u can also just drag a folder into terminal and it will fill the file path

small star
#

oh ok ty

prisma glen
#

so maybe u can try writing
mokuro
with a space after and dragging the folder into the terminal window

small star
#

it now says permission denied

#

i forget how to fix that

prisma glen
#

u would have to change the permissions on the folder u have the manga in but its probably easier to just move it to a different location

I have it on desktop should I move it somewhere else? first I'll check the folder permissions and see if that works

prisma glen
#

hmm i think desktop should have worked fine but im not sure tbh, i switched to mac pretty recently so still learning

#

i did a quick google search and it seems like terminal does not have read/write permissions for the desktop folder by default?

#

so maybe try running ls ~/Desktop and seeing if mac gives u a prompt to give terminal access to desktop

small star
#

oh ok I will give it a shot.

#

Still having difficulties lol. I might comeback to this later.

#

I got it to work! I didn't put a space when typing mokuro

#

so I used a space and got it to work
