well that is why i dont want it on all my cards. just the ones that are leeched. i have tried to remember them but just cant so i want to see if furigana can help me remember them. i am planing on removing it when i get a "grasp" on them

Leeches are called leeches because they leech your energy and give you no benefit. Just let them go. You will learn them in immersion anyway.

There have been many words I have leeched in anki, and then later I found that I just knew them. It felt weirdly like magic. You really don't have to stress and try to brute force these words. All words are learned through immersion. Anki is just a tool to help the process along.

People more experienced told me all this 3+ years ago when I was a beginner and it turned out to be true. Just trust the process and don't stress about things your brain is not ready for.
