it depends on what you're doing, are you using jp subs + jp dub, ideally also using yomitan so you can look up words you don't know? if so, that's fine, go for it 
When you’re just starting out, the common advice is to stick to one “domain” which is a fancy way of saying genre. Will you learn words that are useless for everyday conversation like “demon finger” or “exorcist” or whatever?
Sure.
But will you enjoy what you’re learning from?
Also yes.
And enjoying what you’re learning from not only helps prevent burn out, but also has suggestive evidence that you’ll learn from it quicker/more effectively bc the brain “cares more”
