Hi, what happened is the following: when I started mining I used a preset card type connected to yomichan in order to add cards in one click to a mining deck. The thing is I realized a bunch of cards later when I was reviewing that I didn't like that format of card.
As I didn't know much about Anki card creation and such, I kept the deck linked to yomichan to keep adding cards to my mining deck. However, I was not using this deck anymore and I was using it as a filter.
Once I finished a novel I would go to the browser tab and create my own cards using the info on the "filter deck", like copying the sentence then the audio then the definitions and so on, but with my own styling on a new deck.
At the beginning it wasn't much of a hassle as there weren't many cards, but as I continued reading the cards were slowly but surely accumulating and the filter growing as well. Today I created 720 cards taking sentences from the filter to the main deck, finishing all the accumulated cards.
I naturally figured that this was insane and that I needed the cards to be directly added to the main deck, so I went back to yomichan settings to set that new cards go to "sentence" deck and set it up.
It happened what I feared, when I hover over a word it won't detect the word added to the previous deck.
I think the solution is to add a expression/vocab field on top of the "sentence" deck so it can detect the words but I don't know if I would be able to retroactively do that to my 2k words mining deck.
I'll add pictures in the comments.

this is what the original deck looks like, I wasn't really comfortable with it as I said so I ended up partially dropping it.
and this is what my crrent cards look like, much more simple.
but since the vocab field (since it doesn't exist in the first place) is not on top on the "sentence" deck, it won't detect words I shift+hover during my immersion
when I had yomichan set to the first card type it would detect this word but not anymore
so I now have two identical decks where I only review the main one (sentence) as the older is just the "filter" (i+1)
as I stated in the first message I think the solution is to add a row on top of the "sentence" deck with only vocab so it can be detected by yomichan. I could move the kanji field on top (I believe so?) just for this but the problem is as you can see, it's blank. Because this is my hand made deck, and the kanji field was for special occasions when a word written in kana had a kanji variant that I would add just for reference, so as you can imagine it blank like in 99% of the sentences. And I manually created 2k cards
I want to get rid of the i+1 deck and just use the sentence deck as I have been for the past months. I already set yomichan to add the words directly into sentence. It doesn't have the formatting color and it also has a ton of definitions taken from all my dictionaries but that's not really a problem since I can go back from once in a while and check the definitions I want to keep so it looks really simple as examples shown above where it has at most only two or three defs.
Of course the main problem will be -> Have I added this word already or not? and since there's no way to check it up my fear is to add multiple cards with the same word. Another problem is that the first field is sentences and it should be words, this will cause yomichan to never detect a word. Is there a way to save this? like an add-on that can take all the green coloured words and copy what's on the field to another field called "vocab" or something just for yomichan to be able to detect it?
yomichan is currently set up (poorly, of course) like this. cards created this way look like this, I don't mind going back colouring the words and deleting the unwanted definitions, so even if the cards get created like this I can work around them and correct them manually as it already saves much work. But I need to find one way to save this situation
I am mentioning the possibility of an add-on because up until today I didn't have furigana on ANY SINGLE card, but with the help of an add-on I managed to retroactively add the furigana to all my cards in a single click (it took like half an hour but it got the job done and now it does it automatically)
I don't want this to happen again. How do I save this situation? I don't want to have two identical decks anymore, and all of it it's because of this mistake in the beginning when I was clueless. I don't want to ever make cards manually again. This 700 cards took like 14 hours in which I could have been immersing!
if more info is needed, ask for it and I'll deliver it. Thanks
Intead of more information, I really think you should make a new thread with less information
because this is overhelming and I doubt many people will be willing to help you
