Hello everyone I was wondering if there was some kind of anki addon that makes the review timing more like the "Even longer review intervals" option for JPDB. I just really miss the images I had with my anki but the reviews feel so repetitive.

Do you have FSRS turned on? You could set your desired retention to something like 80% (or even 75% maybe? I don't remember exactly how extreme the "even longer intervals" is)

I don’t know what FSRS is so that might be a good place to start.

It’s not that extreme i don’t think as I can still get around 90% retention on average with about 20 new cards a day

Yeah, the FSRS algorithm is a lot more optimized and most people get a lot fewer reviews per day and are still able to maintain good retention numbers.

So to turn it on you go into your settings for your mining deck. We usually recommend 85% for retention rate, but you can try setting it at 90% and see how that feels. It's recommended to press the Optimize button about once a month or so.

If you click reschedule cards on change, it will apply the changes immediately which could mean a big increase or a big drop in the number of your daily reviews for a short time. If you don't click it, it will apply the changes as you go.
