fsfr: should i make new deck presets for every deck what if they have cards of varying difficulty

ive only now just switched to fsrs and ive read that each deck preset needs to be different for each deck depending on difficulty so should i make new presets for all of them? some of my decks have sentence card and vocab cards in the same deck so do i transer them to new seperate decks? this is not just my japanese decks btw

You should make a separate preset for decks that for whatever reason are not in the same category

This could be because one deck uses vocab cards and another uses audio cards, one is a premade deck and one is a mining deck, differences in your grading criteria, etc.

The reason for this is because fsrs will adjust the algorithm based on your performance which is great assuming two things are true

1. The new cards are roughly equivalent to the old cards in terms of difficulty.
2. The grading criteria for the new cards are the same as they are for the new ones.
