Can you save external subs to stay attached and synced to a video in jidoujisho? If not would anyone b able to dm sources for where to get videos that have Japanese subs built in rather than English? Thanks :>

If you want to sync it, you either use "align subtitle with transcript" or "subtitle timing and appearance".

Is there a way to save them to the video? I could do this part but the problem was that I would have to re-add the subtitles every time I open the app/video

Ahh gotcha. Is there a good website to download shows with built in Japanese subtitles? The one I'm using only has english

Unfortunately not..

Some shows on Nyaa may have Japanese subs built in, but you usually have to add them externally.

If the subtitle file has the same name as the video file and they're in the same directory jidoujisho will automatically import them

I made a script that does this automatically for me, but you could realistically do it manually within 2 minutes
