Hiragana or kanji anki cards?

if i find a word thats written in hiragana but also has a kanji reading should i add the kanji form instead of the hiragana form to the card

I recommend mining the word in whatever form it appears in in the sentence

But that being said, I see you're stage 1. Have you gone through a premade deck of 1000 words yet?

ok i will mine with how it appears yeah im working through jp1k right now but sometimes i add vocab cards of word i see often and there are already some i＋１ sentences ive found
