Is there an alternative to add audio to anki cards? I'm getting the "No results found" even though they clearly exist on the forvo site. But the download there is painstakingly slow, so maybe that's why...
I also checked and got the 23.12 anki version to make sure the addon should theoretically work and it's not because my anki updated...

also just found out that this addon https://tatsumoto-ren.github.io/blog/anki-japanese-support.html has audio too...and I even had an old pitch accent only version installed all along 😅

I've actually run into this exact same problem. Both with mpv's immersive plugin and with the anki one. Somehow using a VPN was able to fix it, so it might be an issue of Forvo rate limiting IPs or something...

Yeah, that's what I'm assuming as well...very annoying
