#ASBplayer fails to play all versions of this OVA

the video codecs used to encode those videos aren't supported by your browser, apparently
if hardware acceleration is disabled on your browser, try enabling it
or try a different browser, such as those suggested here: https://github.com/animebook/animebook.github.io
the advice written there applies to asbplayer as well
I've tried Chrome and Brave, and I have hardware acceleration enabled. Happens even in the marmaduke ungoogled all-codecs+ Chromium version.
It's possible that all of the versions of this OVA use AC3 audio encoding, though this one looks like it uses Opus 2. I'm an amateur at this stuff.
if it's just the audio codec that isn't supported i would expect the video to play, but the audio to be silent
if you've already tried marmaduke i'm at a loss, marmaduke should be able to play almost everything, except for ac3 audio
btw when i go to chrome://gpu/ i see this:
curious what you have there
Here's what I've got in my usual browser, Brave. I notice it's missing "hevc range extensions," which might be a clue. I'll check Chrome next.
Here's Chrome:
And here's the video properties of the OVA file:
interesting, it seems like it SHOULD work since the video is "h256 main 10"
does https://animebook.github.io/ fail to load the video too?
ok so not an asbplayer-specific problem
in that case i'm not sure if i can offer you anything else besides try microsoft edge, or try different video source
